I’m just thinking, spring is coming, so it is a high time to make something fresh and full of colours. I have even an idea!. What can be more associated with spring than flowers, so it is settled, flower pendant it is. It’ will be like a first snowdrop, a spark of hope for the better tomorrow – I know it sounds pompously, but go gentle on me, I’m trying to overcome winter lethargy and apathy 🙂
Accompanied by a cup of coffee, I started drawing my sketch, after a few attempts I have finally managed to draw even petals. Success! Note, I used ruler, yes ruler… petals drew to the correct size:) The next thing are beads, I always have here problems, the choice is vast, but you can never have too many beads;) I chose the colour of the sun. The beads aren’t perfectly even, because they are not the TOHO, MIYUKI or PRECIOSA ones, but believe you can embroider with the not even ones as well. The cut pattern of the flower I overdrew on the felt and begin to embroider, beading a la’ Moris – bead after bead, I started in the middle, moved to the edges of petals and at the end I finished with the petals themselves. It came out positively, optimistically and springish. However, when I have visited some hand made blogs, I’ve had an impression, that the spring is everywhere for good and due to the whole “spring” spirit my head spinned, nevertheless it’s nothing wrong about a breath of fresh air after the depressing winter, right? Do you feel the same way?
