Have you ever wondered how was it to live in a different century? What did we wear, what were we interested in, what did we do in our free time? History fascinates us and very often inspires. However, the Middle Ages weren’t the ones which inspired today’s project, the medievalism of it started to show its face during the work.
Everything started with turquoise cabochon. I have never embroidered with a peyote stitch and decided that bezeling the cabochon would be a perfect begining. A small cabochon pendant bezeled with beads – it was supposed to be a quick and easy project, it was supposed to be…but was it? Check that out 🙂
Easter eggs, bunnies, and lambs everywhere, needles to say it’s Easter-ish, family-ish, spring-ish and colourful, even the weather is beautiful 🙂 but at U Morisa…. hmmm….at U Morisa it seems like the Halloween is back 😉
I’m just thinking, spring is coming, so it is a high time to make something fresh and full of colours. I have even an idea!. What can be more associated with spring than flowers, so it is settled, flower pendant it is. It’ will be like a first snowdrop, a spark of hope for the better tomorrow – I know it sounds pompously, but go gentle on me, I’m trying to overcome winter lethargy and apathy 🙂
When I look through the window and see the weather outside, there is no way somebody could force me to do anything. It is grey, dull and gloomily,on top of it all, it’s pouring. I would jump to bed, put a duvet over my head and ask somebody to wake me up in July – as in Monika’s Brodka song 🙂 ( a great piece of music, definitely worth recommending).
We like it when everything goes according to plan, don’t we? However, in reality, in most cases, we come across many obstacles, problems so the initial plan has to be changed or adjusted. And it’s all fine as long as we achieve, more or less, what we wanted, but … if we don’t, there is the anger, the frustration of wasting the precious time and making all of those efforts for nothing…(at least in my case, that’s the way it is). We always have those big plans, we imagine the results, but at the end of it all, the outcome is nothing what we had in mind…
