After the bead crochet, here comes a new challenge – herringbone stitch. It wasn’t planned from the very beginning, I haven’t made the list of techniques and stitches I’m going to learn. I just try out the things I come across, that is the things I like:) You are welcome to join me in my first encounter with herrigbone stitch.
Easter eggs, bunnies, and lambs everywhere, needles to say it’s Easter-ish, family-ish, spring-ish and colourful, even the weather is beautiful 🙂 but at U Morisa…. hmmm….at U Morisa it seems like the Halloween is back 😉
I’m the kind of person who thinks thoroughly about the things she throws away, because you never know how and when the things can become of any use to you. However don’t worry, my house has not yet turned into a rubbish dump and I’m not addicted to rubbish collecting, let’s say that for now I’m only an harmless domestic hamster;) It often happens that it’s a pity to get rid of some things just like that, you can always give them a second life, right?
A few days ago on my Facebook fanpage I mentioned my challenge connected with beaded rope. There were two scenarios how all of this could end, one me deafiting the bead crochet and the other. me being defeated by bead crochet:) Ona has to develop and get to know new techniques, right? Do you want to know how the fight finished and what kind of experiences I’ve learnt? Read more!
I’m just thinking, spring is coming, so it is a high time to make something fresh and full of colours. I have even an idea!. What can be more associated with spring than flowers, so it is settled, flower pendant it is. It’ will be like a first snowdrop, a spark of hope for the better tomorrow – I know it sounds pompously, but go gentle on me, I’m trying to overcome winter lethargy and apathy 🙂
No, I don’t have Monday in mind, not even the day when you don’t want to do a thing, because the weather is terrible. I’m talking about a day when you have planned to do a new project, you are thinking about the colours, you are getting more and more excited and you can’t wait until you will find a moment to start creating.
“I’m in my prime here and terminal, you know. Probably I only have another two days left to live…” said Melman, a fellow fit as a fiddle who constantly worries about having a serious illness. Have you ever come across a hypochondriac?….I was bitten! I’m sure it was tsetse fly, where is my ointment?! I’m dying! Do you see those pimples, I don’t like them, I have to go to the doctor. There is a soap in my eye, I won’t be able to see ever again! I’m out of adhesive bandages, I’ll bleed to death….and every day the same story over and over again;P
Don’t we love cats? They are so cute, their fur is so fluffy and soft. They purr gently while lying on our laps…We admire their independence and individuality. I’m sure cats’ fans know exactly what I mean:)
We like it when everything goes according to plan, don’t we? However, in reality, in most cases, we come across many obstacles, problems so the initial plan has to be changed or adjusted. And it’s all fine as long as we achieve, more or less, what we wanted, but … if we don’t, there is the anger, the frustration of wasting the precious time and making all of those efforts for nothing…(at least in my case, that’s the way it is). We always have those big plans, we imagine the results, but at the end of it all, the outcome is nothing what we had in mind…
